Hi Howard
I just wanted to thank you very much for last Saturday. I had a great time. I didn't really know what to expect, but I came away very impressed. The progressive agenda of driving with an instructor, then follow the leader, then instructor in car, then graduating to driving the track on your own was perfect. By the time I was on my own, I was confident enough to be there.
The Instructors were beyond anything I was expecting. Pierre and Ken's qualifications were unbelievable, and to get the opportunity absorb some of their knowledge was a treat. Taking a few laps with you in your Porsche really showed me how a car could/should be driven and how far I have to go … LOL!
Even though I was only there for one day, I feel like a safer, more confident driver – and I've been driving 65,000 kms a year for a lot of years. Everyone made me feel at home even though I was a rookie in every sense of the word. I plan on another instructional day next spring, followed by at least one track day.
After last Saturday, it's going to be very hard putting the Viper away for the winter.
Thank you,
Glenn McKinnon

Howard,
I took the driving school today and I have to say everything was better than I expected or even hoped it would be, I have done a limited amount of lapping at Shannonville, the DDT, recently did one solo 1 event and had lapped Mosport behind a pretty quick pace car a couple of times. I think today I learned more than I had at all of the other events combined. I was able to complete a total of 289 kms – about ½ of them with an instructor in the car. Overall a triple “A” day. I will be back.

Howard:
I have to admit, after about 50++ Porsche DEW days, even more PCA Club
Racing days and countless "test & tune" days at various tracks across this
great continent, your "Dexter Day" was by far the most mature, relaxed and
enjoyable.
. There were no "assholes"! How do you do that?
The weather was great (I know you arranged this personally!)
Terry was very helpful (I'll see at the Club Race :-)
I came home "rubber side down" and "shiny side up". Sorry I didn't have a chance to thank you personally - but we had to bolt
home to Ottawa.
I will definitely be back!
Cheers,
Rob W.
